Back on the Blog!

Yay! Look who’s back!

Hello out there! As you may remember, life and job has kept me away from blogging lately, but this week, I’m going to try to get back into the swing and start posting here regularly once more. Things are calming down somewhat at work and life looks like it might be a bit smoother in the near future so–I’m baaaaack! I want to thank everyone for sticking around through the hiatus. You must think I have something good to say and I really appreciate it. πŸ˜‰ I will try not to let you down.

I’ll get back to more substantial writing posts this week, as well as my IWSG post on Wednesday, but today I’ll just recap some stuff going on in my life and writing.

I do have a new book coming out–tentatively, in August, though I’ll know more details soon. It’s called Boyfriend Material and it’s part of my Man Catalog series from Evernight Publishing. I’m eager to be able to tell you more! I also have another book in the works (in a different series) nearly ready for submission. So, even though life has been crazy, I’ve been trying to work on writing whenever time and energy allows it. I think I would have gone crazy during this chaotic time otherwise.

The big news in my personal life is that I’M GOING TO ICELAND FOR MY BIRTHDAY IN JULY! I’m so insanely excited about this. I’ve wanted to visit Iceland for a long time and my best friend and I finally decided to take the plunge. We’ll be staying in Reykjavik and doing a lot of sightseeing all over the country, as well as visiting the Blue Lagoon. We’re flying out on my birthday (July 25th) and will be there until the 30th. I’m so giddy, I can hardly wait for it to get here. There will be lots of pictures! Incidentally, the book I’m working on now is a paranormal set in Iceland–that’s how much I like the country!

And I’m really, really going to need this vacation after the past few months…

Summer is finally here in Cleveland and I’m so grateful. No more snow! Or at least–probably no more snow. You never know around here. Memorial Day has come and gone, and of course if you follow basketball you know our Cavs are in the Finals with Golden State for the FOURTH year in a row–so my city is a bit wild right now. Honestly I’m just kind of glad I no longer work downtown like I used to.

How is life in your part of the world? Anything interesting going on? Anything coming up in the near future? I’m glad to be back, and I promise I’ll try to stick around this time!

  6. Welcome back, Megan! I know what it’s like to have too much going on to work on your blog. When I started my book promoting my business I had to leave. I was able to figure out how to do it and not lose any time with the authors I represent. Plus, I really missed everyone!
