The state of the blog.

Alas, I’ve decided to throw in the towel on the NaBloPoMo challenge. Not only is it not really holding my interest, it’s taking too much time I don’t have. I guess, fresh off the A to Z Challenge, I felt like I could blog forrrreeeever! Turns out I need a break. So this will now just become a regular blog and I’ll try to update about two to three times a week. If the A to Z Challenge gave me anything, it was the will to be a regular blogger. I really do enjoy blogging now and talking with the people who stop by to visit!

I will leave the old NaBloPoMo posts up so you can still browse through all the silly pictures I posted.

I do have an upcoming release on May 27, which I’ll get more into in my next blog post. I will also (hopefully) be doing a cover reveal for my next book sometime this month, which will be released on November 10th. Yay for upcoming things!

And now, back to less hectic programming. Here is a picture of my cat sunning herself on my pink rug to ease the pain.

Life is good on a pink rug.

  1. I give you credit for attempting another blogging challenge. I agree though, I feel like I can blog continually, but the rest is certainly needed for me. I have my short stories collection I need to get back to. Also, a blog posted to only once or twice a week is easier to get back to. I love to visit my favourite blogs, but sometime, time just gets away from me.

    1. Absolutely! I bit off more than I could chew, I’m afraid. I have a new release coming out this month too, so I need to prepare promotional stuff for that. Back to simple blogging it is!

  2. Phew! I’m glad it wasn’t just me feeling that I’d taken on too much and not really enjoying it. A-Z was great and I really wanted to keep the momentum up, but I agree that following it straight away with another full on month of blogging is just too much, with everything else I’ve got going on. I’ve scheduled posts up to 17 May, and I’ll let those go up, but I don’t think I’ll do any more after that.

  3. That is one thing I discovered after the A-to-Z challenge also. Though I enjoyed it, the pressure was a lot. I will be blogging about 3 times a week for now. If I can and feel a need I will add to that but for now this is good.
