Sneak Peek Sunday, oh my!

Sneak Peek Sunday BannerToday I’m participating in Sneak Peek Sunday for the first time ever! For those not in the know, this is a blog hop in which the participating authors posts six paragraphs–no more, no less–from either a published or unpublished work. Jump to the bottom of this post when you’re finished to check out the other authors involved!

I’m sharing six paragraphs from my short story What the Doctor Ordered, in the Smut by the Sea Vol. 3 anthology from House of Erotica. The story and the anthology itself are erotica, all adhering to a singular theme–you guessed it–smut, by the sea! With colder weather settling over those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, why not enjoy a little sexy fun on a sunwashed beach, or take a passionate romp in the ocean waves?

Light hearted, sexy fun by the sea is the theme of this erotic anthology, edited by Victoria Blisse and Lucy Felthouse.

From exotic locales such as Croatia and Australia to the coastal caves of England, Smut by the Sea Volume 3 has it all. Whatever your interpretation of naughty seaside fun, there’s something nestling between the covers for you. Kinky role play, gorgeous artists, bobbing boats, sexy cougars, hunky hermits and more abound in this exciting collection of stories from erotica’s finest authors.

Includes my story What the Doctor Ordered:

After her divorce, April Winegarden relocates to Daytona Beach to start her life anew. The surf and sand are revitalizing for a woman in her forties trying to start again. The sun is hot, but even hotter is Hunter Zhào, the sexy twenty-something Chinese American college boy who works as a busser at her favorite seaside restaurant. The two strike up a friendship, with April trying to suppress her naughty fantasies about a boy young enough to be her son, until Hunter invites her to a party and they get to know each other even better. April gets her groove back when she takes him home with her that night–and finds out an old dog still has the best tricks.

Six paragraphs annnnd, go!

They sat in silence for a few minutes, the tension ratcheting up. Finally, inevitably, they put their glasses on the table and turned toward each other. April realised she had her breath held and let it out when he cupped her face with his hand.

He kissed her deeply; a self-confident, easy, passionate kiss. His mouth tasted like wine and his lips were firm and plush. A bit of stubble on his chin tickled her.

She’d always loved kissing, and Hunter was a good kisser. He slid his hands over her, eager but still respectful, which gave her free reign to feel him up too.

He was so firm beneath his clothes, as hard and tight as he looked. She ran her hands over his chest and shoulders, down his sides, across his hips. He mirrored her movements, lighting her up.

Eventually they both came up for air. She was tingling in places she hadn’t tingled in a while, at least not without doing it herself.

He had his hand on her upper thigh, over her dress. As he started kissing her neck, she tilted her head back with a sigh. She found her confidence again and gripped his hand, guiding it to the bottom of her dress. He was young, but certainly not naïve, as once he seemed to realise he had permission, he took action.

Oh, those were such short paragraphs, weren’t they? I’m such a tease. I guess you’ll just have to buy the book to find out how far Hunter goes…
